Digital Marine Landscape

The given prompt was to create a collage of landscape using a chosen image from the RISD Nature Lab's virtual collection. Using the chosen nature lab shell image and other found images, I created a series of collage. The work depicts a digital version of marine landscape in a fragmented way, using extremely saturated colors of digital color space. Specifically, I focus on experimenting with the scripting pattern technique in Photoshop to study how the digital media can randomly generate different compositions and represent an image in a distorted manner.
